What is Cognitive Skills Assessment?
Before we get started with brain training, a Cognitive Skills Assessment will be administered by our brain trainer. We use the Gibson Tests of Cognitive Skills. This brain skills test will identify existing strengths and growth areas where brain training can help. This also helps us identify the root cause of any learning or thinking struggles that you or your child may be experiencing.
You or your child will go through a series of activities using the computer. The assessment will take approximately an hour to an hour and a half. Each activity is designed to test a specific skill or set of skills. Based on the results of a Cognitive Skills Assessment, we customize our training plans for each student.
